Human rights have been a staple of American values since the beginning of our countries history, but in this instance some question whether these rights hold the same value they have in the past, especially when evaluating values in the eyes of the government. Michael Grabell while writing the article â€Å"Cut To The Bone† informs readers of how a successful poultry company known as Case Farms has found a way to take advantage of a group of large number of individuals during a time of turmoil and violence there. Grabell’s writing allows readers of the article to become familiar with how Case Farms conducts their business. Grabell introduces the readers to Osiel Lopez P erez, a Guatemalan immigrant. Osiel began to work at Case Farms at the age of 17 which by law in Ohio is too young to work in a factory. However, as Grabell reports â€Å"he got the job at Case Farms with a driver’s license that said his name was Fransisco Sepulveda, age twenty eight.†(46) Grabell continues the point in further detail â€Å"The photograph on the I.D was of his older brother, who looked nothing like him, but nobody asked questions.† (46) The fact that nobody asked questions within the text is an early example of how the company views situations like Osiel’s and how they handle them. Osiel’s story is crucial to the readers perspective on Case Farms due to the events that took place on April 7th 2015.
